My 92 s10 blazer has a teflon hose in the middle where the hardlines come from the fuel pump then tflon hose then hardline to engine. I want to change out the engine running lines, what type of fitting/adapter to screw into the OEM teflon hose? What adapter did you use for the 5/16 at the end?

2010 3.9 v6 chevy impala, No clicking noise, but driver side vents not blowing cold like the passenger side. Replaced driver side actuator hoping to fix the issue, but still having the same issue. Did 3 different reset/relearn procedures, still same issue... Any ideas? Could freon level be low? Any help is most appreciated!

now what about if it's the back cable thats the problem? The part that holds the little ball is so rusted that its became big enough to where the ball just slips right out of it when you pull the lever too hard. (ball and front cable still look ok form what I can tell) do you know if you'd be able to route that back cable without removing the exhaust? it's really hard to tell looking at it

Thanks for the clear and understandable instructions. I've watched others trying to show this, but with not very clear instructions. I finished mine in about 2.5-3 hours. Getting the new one in place was the hardest part for me. I lined up the new one using the battery cable trick you showed, but it still wouldn't go back on. I noticed that it had a spring action to the post if you tried to turn it, but it would just spring back to the original position. I even went ahead and plugged the power back into it and still it wouldn't work. I finally decided to turn the car on with the air running and found that I could then maneuver the post and then I found that I could change the position of the post without it springing back to the original position. I also removed a screw that was in the way near the bottom of the actuator, and it finally went on and the cool air started flowing out of the left side vents!!! YES!!! I then put the screws back in and tightened them up and put everything back together. I had to pray my way through this one! Thank God and thank you for your great instructions! The mechanic was going to charge me $900 for this because he said it required pulling the dash. Well, I only paid about $75 for the part and tools I needed! It was a bear of a job, but perseverance paid off! Thanks again.

This will never work on original factory brake system without changing brake pedal rod pin for 0.6 inches longer . Original piston inside the master cylinder is shorter and new kit coming with longer piston and the inside hole where the pedal pin pushing is 0.6 inches deeper. So if you install master cylinder with the new longer piston inside then the pedal pin never reach the bottom of the piston and never push on the master cylinder.

So I finally got around to doing this today. Had a multi-fit high torque starter, had to take the transmission and clutch and flywheel off because my G body malibu won't work with a 11" clutch without finding the rare "G body only" 78-79 specific 11' bellhousing. Had to go back to the 10.5" clutch and 153 tooth flywheel that came stock in my 1980 Malibu. I bolted up the one starter bolt and found a drill that just barely fit in the hole for the other bolt, I think it was an X drill size. Lined up the starter and verified the alignment and the "paperclip" clearance, drilled a pilot divot, then started with a C drill size. Once I drilled that straight thru into the boss in the block, I moved up a couple sizes, then finished off with a 5/16" bit straight thru. My cousin then told me that the starter bolts don't start threading until a 1/2" into the block so I used a 3/8" bit for a 1/2" to create a starter hole for the tap. Once I started tapping, I squirted PB Blaster into the top of the hole and went 1/4 to 1/2 turn at a time. With the flywheel off, I was able to use the chuck and T handle in my tap and die kit and tapped straight thru the entire hole. I didn't have to use a ton of force by just doing small turns. It was a bit tedious and took about 10 minutes of turning but it went thru. I already have the flywheel, clutch and bellhousing back on, tomorrow morning I'll fit the transmission again and hopefully be burning tires by lunch time. Thanks again for the video. Saved me from fixing it with a jug of gas and a lighter.
